Media Widget

The Media widget allows you to add a video, image or audio file to a Frog page.

The aim of this guide is to introduce you to:

Media Widget

 

It allows you to add a video, image or audio file to a Frog page. The Media widget can be placed in any page or Frog site and can be viewed by anyone with access to the Frog site.

In the Edit panel you will see the widget settings for the Media widget, and that you have a number of options when selecting a file to be displayed by the Media widget:

Upload directly

  • Find a file in your FrogDrive
  • Search Google for images and YouTube video use a file you have already uploaded to the Frog site in Site assets. If you select the Site assets drop down button, this will display any assets (ie. images or videos) that have previously been uploaded to this Frog site ​​​​​​​
  • Select the size of the media.​​​​​​​

The Media widget configures itself to either display images or a video player or an audio player.

 

Note: If you have used FrogSnap, which allows you to send media directly to a Frog site, these images, audio files and videos will not show up in Site assets. They will appear in your FrogDrive and the site’s timeline. In order to add this media to a page, you will have to use the FrogDrive option to locate the files.
