Determining your Site's Policies
How to...? guide on how to determine the policy access to users in your Frog platform.
Determining your Site's Policies
Much of the functionality within Frog can be enabled or disabled for all users through the Groups & policies application. The table can be used to make decisions as a site on what features of Frog should be available to which profiles, groups and/or users.
Managing user access in Frog for Profile: Admin & Staff users begins by managing the security settings in the Civica education suite (CES).
For more information on which security settings in CES provide Admin or Staff access in Frog, visit Managing CES security groups for Frog.
It is recommended practice that a site has only few users who are provisioned with Frog Admin permission. Most users should be provisioned with Frog, giving them Profile: Staff level permissions within the site. If it is deemed that a user or group of users need access to additional functionality, then a Staff Admin, Senior Staff/Delegated Staff group should be utilised and set with the desired access to functionality.
Management of functionality can become more tailored for your site as you add more groups. To learn how to create, edit and delete groups in Frog, visit Groups & Policies.
