Things to consider

How will you communicate with your staff?

Even a small change can cause confusion. We suggest that you have a clear idea of how you communicate the inclusion of a mobile app to your teams, such as what it is and why we are doing this. Having some milestones and communicating a launch plan really helps

Create a pilot group of users

To enable the launch to go as well as you can, we suggest getting a few key members of staff together to use the app and be your champions!

How do you currently Communicate with Parents and Caregivers?

Consider amending your comms policy to add guidance relating to the new home-school app (Frog GO).

What do you want parents to see when they access your platform via the app?

When you log in via Frog GO, you will only see the dashboard relevant to your log-in profile. If you are allowing access to parents for the first time, we suggest you add a link to the staff dashboard to view how the parent dashboard will display via the Frog GO app. Alternatively, call on the expertise of a parent teacher.

Gather Feedback

As with the introduction of any new technology, it's important to receive feedback from your end users and make the tweaks you wish to keep everyone engaged.

New Parents & Students

It's important to note that when a new student and parent are due to start at the school, they will not be able to access the app until the students’ start date, not before.

Technical Readiness

You need to have the community portal enabled. Please check the relationship access between each parent and child is enabled / disabled as appropriate.

Request support

If your school is having issues setting up and configuring the Frog GO mobile app, please ask a member of the your tech team to get in touch using the form below...

THE FINER DETAILS

Please note:

Schools must have enabled Community Portal for parents to access the Frog platform and use FrogGo.

Frog technical support is a provision for the staff at SA schools, not for direct support to parents.
